Nicole and essie walk into a bar

I bought some new polishes and decided to try these two together! The base coat is two coats of essie Dive Bar. It goes on nice and thick. I prefer to do two thinner coats as opposed to one glopping thick coat. Mostly because I prefer it to dry as quickly as possible and this helps, BUT if you had some time on your hands you could certainly get away with doing just one thick coat of this polish. It's not as holographic as I thought it would be based on the bottle. It's a nice dark blue colour though. On top of that I stamped with Nichole by OPI in The Next CEO. It's a beautiful gold colour. Really smooth application, and as you can see by the label on the bottle it has a great brush for putting the polish on.

Grass and Dirt

I'm loving this finished mani! I started with Finger Paint Paper Mâché as a base, then added two coats of China Glaze Tree Hugger. I stamped over it with with Insta-dry Mochachino. Finally I added a large diagonal stripe also in Mochachino. Finished off with SV topcoat.

Electric blue

Finally got around to using one of the new bundle monster plates I purchased. I started with a Finger Paint white base coat so that I wouldn't have to paint so many layers of the blue (also Finger Paint, Sexy In The City). Once that was dry I did a layer of Seche Vite then stamped the design in a dark purple and finished with SV topcoat. It's very bright! Makes me think of some kind of candy... I'm just not sure what.

DS Original day 3

Day three of my mani using the awesome OPI DS Original I decided to put a stamp over it.
